Even as the rain fell down yesterday on the black candidate for the Illinois Senate seat, there was an almost mandated feeling to the scene. Here, the African American was shut out, but "as one goes forward, the rain falls; then good fortune comes". And so it seems that the Democrats have been able to sort out whatever issues that had seemed insurmountable.

Burris Expected to take Senate Seat
Even as the rain fell down yesterday on the black candidate for the Illinois Senate seat, there was an almost mandated feeling to the scene.
