The '60s, Yuck! 40 years after fateful '68-'69, many Americans look at Obama as the fulfilment of the dreams of that time. I have been watching Tom Brokaw on The History Channel, with commentary by Pat Buchanan on 1968. I was only 8 years old when these events unfolded, and like Barack Obama , do not consider myself a member of the "Boomer" generation which dominated the '60s era. But I am certainly glad to see that time is long over, and that Barack is at the helm as we navigate well into the 21st century now. And all those former hippies are now in their late 50s and into their 60s. How the mightly have fallen, tee hee.
