Of course, barely one piece of gay-friendly legislation (hate crimes) budged during the past two years, either, despite big Democratic advantages in both chambers.Depending on whom you read, DADT repeal is either dead for the upcoming lame duck session or at best on the kind of life support that depends on the kindness of Republicans in the Senate.
- If DADT repeal dies, Obama will act. Disgusted with himself as much as with the intransigence of the reactionaries on Capitol Hill, he will either. . . "
