The Fix - Senate Republicans pick up Arkansas and Indiana, Democrats hold onto West Virginia
Republicans also claimed victories in Indiana's Senate race where former Sen. Dan Coats (R) defeated Rep. Brad Ellsworth (D) and, in Arkansas where Rep. John Boozman (R) beat Sen. Blanche Lincoln(D). Both are pickups for the GOP.
Popular West Virginia Gov. Joe Manchin (D) beat back a surprisingly strong challenge from businessman John Raese (R), a victory that will make it difficult for Republicans to win a Senate majority.
Republicans needs to win eight more seats to take back the majority.
In addition to Florida and Kentucky, the GOP also held a handful of their own seats including in Ohio, where former Rep. Rob Portman (R) cruised to victory in the race to replace Sen. George Voinovich (R) and New Hampshire where former Attorney General Kelly Ayotte (R) won an open seat race over Rep. Paul Hodes (D).. . . As expected, Christine O'Donnell (R) was soundly defeated by New Castle County Executive Chris Coons (D) in Delaware's open seat Senate race -- keeping the seat in the Democratic column.

Ohio McDonalds told workers to vote GOP
McDonald’s ‘intimidated’ workers into voting GOP from the Raw Story
"Officials in the Democratic Party in Ohio are calling on officials to investigate the owner of McDonald's restaurants in the state over what they say is an attempt to "intimidate" employees into voting Republican.Employees at as many as 12 McDonald's restaurants received a letter with their most recent paycheck urging them to vote for Republican candidates, or else future paychecks would be in jeopardy.
"If the right people are elected, we will be able to continue with raises and benefits at or above our present levels," said the letter, as quoted at the Cleveland Plain Dealer. "If others are elected, we will not."
The letter was written on McDonald's stationery and included a pamphlet promoting Ohio Republican candidates John Kasich (for governor), Rob Portman (for Senate) and Jim Renacci, who's running for a House seat.
Ohio Democratic Party chairman Chris Redfern has asked county and federal prosecutors to investigate the letter, AP reports."
